“I need to go murder my arms.”

Ok, now that I’m caught up with THAT, the real post for today…It’s early and I’m tired, bear with me.

TODAY’S WORKOUT:

100 pushups for time

=( I have the weakest upper body…I guess this is how to strengthen it, but DANG man. Wack.

TODAY’S FOOD:

Cranberry & flax seed oatmeal w/apple bits

Mandarin soy chik’n with brown rice

I haven’t quite figured out what else I’m eating, but I’m sure it’ll be equally healthy. That JITB yesterday really was not my best move. =/ 

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go murder my arms.

“Yesterday’s post today?”

OK, so I totally lagged it in posting yesterday. I was going to, but dangit, I was TIRED. So, you get two posts today. This is what yesterday’s post should have been:

TODAY’S WORKOUT:

2 rounds of

5m run

50 squats (25 each leg)

Before working out, I stretched the goodness all out of my legs, because I knew they’d be like rubber once I was through. I also started with a 10 minute warm up jog/walk at a rate of 2.5/3.0 mph, which came out to ~.35 miles.

Obviously, stretch when you’re done, and do the same walk/jog for your cool down. Yesterday I did a total of 1.20 miles and a full hour of cardio. 

NOO, it’s NOT a lot, but it’s best to start off small and work your way up. Trust me when I say that I’m feeling it all IN my quadriceps and hamstrings right now, so it did the job. Trust and believe, for a fat girl to do that was a hard freaking job; truthfully that would be a workout for anyone who’s out of shape, regardless of their weight.

TODAY’S FOOD:

Cranberry & flax seed oatmeal w/apple pieces (no butter, no sugar, no milk)

Apple with almond butter 

…Jumbo jack and small fry from Jack in the Box. (I know, I know, totally counteracted the gym)

Mandarin soy chik’n with brown rice

The Jumbo Jack was one of those “I’m out and I’m hungry NOW” type of deals. I’ll try my best no to let it happen again, but if it does, it’s not the end of the world. ::kanye shrug::

“Eww, stop being fat.”

I looked in the mirror the other day, and said to myself, “Eww, stop being fat.”

So, I’m going to do just that…starting with going to the gym this morning. Ugh…the gym. A fat girl’s worst/best frenemy. Please pray for me, because I have the strong suspicion that my legs are about to be like Jell-o by the time I get back home. 

I’m also going to blog a l l about it. I mean, with the myriad of fitness, workout, weight lifting, whatever blogs out there, I see no reason not to add mine to the realm.

TODAY’S WORKOUT:

400 m run

50 lunges (25 each leg)

TODAY’S FOOD:

…Yeah…I haven’t really figured that out yet since our fridge is on the fritz. =/ But I’m pretty sure I’ll update that later, or I’ll just have to eat Subway or whatever in the meantime.

BTW, Subway is only healthy if you eat it in moderation, with exercise. Jerad was morbidly obese, and the extreme calorie cutting + walking was a hefty workout for him. A foot long meatball sub with pepperoni and provolone on Italian herbs and cheese will help nothing except your taste buds…a half inch veggie delight on wheat bread, no mayo, vinegar or cheese, however, will.
